ew York. The city so good, they named it twice. Here, tourists who come to visit for a week end up staying for good. Visiting the Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, and Central Park are all in a day's work for these tourists. They say, just one more day, one more day to make their way to visit Staten Island, and Grand Central Station, and the Rockerfeller, and the next thing they know, they're uprooting themselves, and moving to this glorious city.
eople who have lived here their whole lives can't imagine ever leaving. Artists flock to the many art galleries, wanting to showcase their work and sell it for a small fortune, singers and actors fight over places at the different performing arts academies across the city, all over the place, all desperate to be the next big thing. Celebrities and common folk alike have dreams they've come to New York to achieve. Some dreams are attainable; settling down with a family, getting a good job. Others, not always as easy to attain; treading the boards of Broadway's finest stages, perfoming a sell-out show in Madison Square Gardens, or a record-breaking turnout to view their artwork in MoMA.
reams don't always come true.
